The DockATot Deluxe Silver Lining (Chevron) offers a perfect docking station for babies (newborn up to 8 months old). Beautiful accented in a chevron pattern in a silver lining color, the DockATot is elegant and looks lovely in any nursery. Multifunctional, the DockATot offers a safe place for your baby to rest, lounge, play, cuddle, and more. It’s also a great spot for diaper changes, and for tummy time with your baby. Because the DockATot Deluxe is portable and lightweight, it makes it easy to travel with you wherever you go.

Designed in Sweden and made n Europe, all materials used in The DockATot Deluxe in Silver Lining (Chevron) are breathable, washable and hypoallergenic. The DockATot offers excellent air permeability, and all filling materials are hygienic and have non-toxic properties.

DockATot Portable Crib

Excellent Air-Permeability

Both the mattress pad and bumper of the DockATot Silver Lining (Chevron) Deluxe Dock have excellent air-permeability and comply with BS4578. BS4578 is the result of an objective to produce a British Standard specification for a pillow which can confidently be used in cots, perambulators.

Open Air Breathability
Unlike other bassinets, moses baskets and infant and baby loungers, the design of the DockATot is made to not trap used air (carbon dioxide, baby’s breath, etc.). The DockATot Deluxe pod is designed, so that your child’s face sits relatively high in relation to the sides of the dock. The sides are low and rounded, so that a baby that is correctly positioned in the pod, lying on his or her back, will be breathing into open air.

Co-Sleeping

If you co-sleep with your baby, the DockATot features protective sides that facilitate correct physiological back positioning while preventing the baby from rolling out of bed, hitting his head against the headboard, getting caught between the bed and the wall, or wriggling down under the covers. The sides also prevent the parents from rolling on top of the baby. Yet, the sides are comfy enough for the parent to have his/her arm over the side to pat and reassure. The firm mattress reduces the risk of suffocation, unlike soft adult mattresses. Please note that DockATot products are not to be used in a crib or bassinet setting.

Rolling Over

DockATot is doesn’t prevent your baby from rolling over. Rolling over is a natural part of a baby’s development, so it should be encouraged during waking and supervised time. Up until 8 months old, you must always place a child to sleep on his/her back. However, at 7-8 months if your baby turns in their sleep, the pod is breathable so you don’t have to turn him/her back on his/her back.

Temperature Control

DockATot does not harbor heat. A very strong feature which we have seen in our testing both independent and in-house is that an infant does not develop excessive perspiration from body heat with the DockATot®. The materials used in the design allow for air to pass through effectively, thus keeping baby cool and relaxed when sleeping.
